Emergency crews are responding to a plane crash off Washington’s San Juan Islands on Thursday. Kenmore Air confirmed one of its aircraft went down on a flight from Lake Union to Roche Harbour, ending up in the water in Shallow Bay. The company told CTV News there were 10 passengers on board, plus the pilot, and that it appears everyone survived. Some on board were seriously injured, however. CTV News has contacted the U.S. Coast Guard for more information on the condition of the plane’s occupants and the rescue effort. Images posted on social media show the wreckage of the plane in flames on the water.
