Multiple weapons seized during investigation into New Bothwell home invasion

Police said a range of weapons were seized, along with electronic equipment, following the home invasion in New Bothwell, Man.

CTV News has obtained exclusive photos of weapons that RCMP believe were used in a violent home invasion in New Bothwell, Man.

The items were seized as part of the investigation into the incident and include a shotgun, machetes and hand gun, along with disguises.

A woman said she was pepper sprayed and held at gun point by men wearing balaclavas on Jan. 13. The group stole a variety of electronic equipment, said RCMP.

The woman was inside a camper at the time.

Her six-year-old daughter was inside the house during the break-in.

Five men have been arrested in the case.
