Chancellor Matheson Road will be closed for a portion of this week to make way for a ball hockey tournament.
The City of Winnipeg said the Play On! Ball Hockey tournament will shut down eastbound Chancellor Matheson Road between Innovation Drive and University Crescent from May 26 at 9:30 a.m. until May 29 at 8:30 p.m..
Westbound Chancellor Matheson will also be closed between University Crescent and the east entrance of the Winnipeg Soccer Club from May 27 at 5:30 p.m. to May 29 at 8:30 p.m..
The city advises motorists to use a different route and plan for extra travel time.
