$100K reward for info leading to arrest of Winnipeg homicide suspect

Winnipeg police are once again looking for information about a suspect in a fatal shooting following a 2024 soccer game.

A $100,000 reward is available for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with a 2024 homicide in Winnipeg.

Tresor Horimbere, 23, is wanted for first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 22-year-old Mohamed Yusuf Abdullahi in July 2024.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of the Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex on Waverly Street after the final games of the Canada African Cup of Nations.

At the time, Winnipeg police said the shooting was targeted.

Horimbere is one of the suspects on the national Be On The Lookout (BOLO) program, a Canada top 25 most-wanted list, and is offering the $100,000 reward.

Investigators believe Horimbere is travelling throughout Canada to avoid arrest.

He is approximately five-foot-eight in height and weighs 120 lbs. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
