Windsor police have arrested a 46-year-old man in Kingsville after he violated his bail conditions.
According to police, on April 4, 2025 Windsor bail compliance officers alongside OPP Repeat Offencer Parole Enforcement Squad (ROPE) members arrested the man, and charged him with four counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The man was initially granted bail in June 2024, facing two charges of sexual assault, two charges of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, seven charges of assault, break and enter, forcible confinement, and failure to comply with release order.
The offender cannot be identified to protect the identity of the victim.
In June, he was released with strict conditions that included house arrest and electronic monitoring.
Officers also arrested the man’s surety and charged her with one count of facilitating a breach of release order. Sureties are individuals that agree to supervise an accused person out on bail with release conditions.
