The Chatham-Kent Police Service has arrested two men in connection to a child luring investigation.
From June 10, 2024, to June 14, 2024, the CKPS Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) participated in Project Orchard, which is a province-wide initiative to identify people trying to exploit children.
The CKPS announced on Thursday that two men were arrested on multiple offences under the operation.
A 57-year-old man was arrested on June 12, 2024, and is now facing three counts of luring a child under 16 and making child pornography.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on June 18, 2024, and is facing three counts of luring a child under 16 and making child pornography.
Officers said both men were held in custody and were later released on bail.
