CTV News is projecting Progressive Conservative candidate Trevor Jones has been re-elected in Chatham-Kent—Leamington, securing a second-straight election night victory.

Voters first sent the Leamington-native to Queen’s Park in 2022, topping runner-up Brock McGreggor for the NDP and former PC MPP Rick Nicholls.

The party touts the former OPP officers as a strong community advocate with a focus on public safety.

His key priorities include investment in rural high-speed internet, healthcare expansion, and housing construction.

More coming.
