Charges have been laid in a recent stabbing incident in Chatham.
On Monday around 2:15 a.m., police were called to a disturbance on Grand Avenue East. Officers said two men were in a “physical altercation.”
When police arrived on scene, one man was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with significant injuries.
Following an investigation, the Chatham-Kent Police Service laid charges against a 30-year-old Chatham man, who was arrested at the scene.
He faces an attempted murder charge. The CKPS said the two men know each other and there’s no concern for public safety.
