Harmony In Action in Windsor has revealed its newest upgrades, courtesy of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Harmony In Action offers day services for people with developmental disabilities and with the funds, decided to put in wheelchair accessible ramps and a Snoezelen Room.
A Snoezelen Room is a multi-sensory environment, which offers relaxing and therapeutic experiences. The room features a bubble pit, fibre optic lights, aroma diffusers, projectors, and interactive wall panels.

With the addition of the ramps, the space is suited for everyone to enjoy.
“All of our entrances are now ramped,” said Elizabeth Esposito, executive director of Harmony In Action.
“They are completely safe for all of our participants, whether it be walkers or individuals in wheelchairs to be able to come and go from the building.”
