Average home sales price increases to $572, 643 in Windsor-Essex

The average sales price of homes and market activity increased in the region, according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.

WECAR says the average sale price increased to $572,643 in January, which is a 6.5 per cent increase compared to an average price of $537,459 in January 2024.

There was a decrease in the number of homes sold in the area. WECAR reports 262 homes were sold in January, down 9.9 per cent compared to the 291 homes sold during the same month last year.

Market activity increased 26 per cent, with 815 new listings last month, compared to 645 in January 2024.

There was a total of 1,254 available listings at the time of the report.
