A man is dead after being shot inside an East Vancouver home early Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Officers were called to the scene near North Kootenay and Dundas streets just after 4:30 a.m., a statement form the Vancouver Police Department said.
“The 49-year-old man died on scene,” it read. “Two suspects, both in their 20s, have been arrested.”
Investigators are expected to remain on scene collecting evidence throughout the day, police added.
No further information was provided, including what relationship – if any – the victim had to the suspects.
