Police in Abbotsford are searching for three suspects after a hotel clerk was bound and threatened during a frightening robbery earlier this week.
Police received a robbery call from the hotel in the 32000-block of Marshall Road on Tuesday around 4:40 a.m.
Const. Ian MacDonald said the call came in several minutes after two men and a woman came into the building and bound the front-desk employee.
The trio made off with the cash register till tray after one of the men "brandished what appeared to be a handgun," said MacDonald.
One of the men wrapped a black t-shirt around his head and face during the robbery.
The suspects fled in a silver, four-door Honda.
The department has released security video of the incident in hopes of identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Abbotsford Police at 604-589-5525 or text 222973 (abbypd).
