Police are searching for suspects after a pair of brazen, violent robberies at Fraser Valley video game stores on Sunday afternoon.

Robbers believed to be armed with a machete first burst into an EB Games store in Pitt Meadows at around 4 p.m.

They tied up the workers, sprayed them with bear spray then looted the shelves and fled.

Two hours later, the assailants hit another EB Games location in Surrey using the same tactics. No injuries were reported.

Few details have been confirmed, including the number of suspects or their descriptions.

It’s also unclear how much merchandise was stolen.

Anyone with information can contact the Surrey or Ridge Meadows RCMP detachments.
