Police in Port Moody, B.C., are requesting the public’s help in identifying two teenagers who they say carried out a violent theft on Wednesday evening.
Two young men allegedly attempted to steal alcohol from a liquor store in the area of the city’s Inlet Centre just before 5:45 p.m, said Port Moody Police in a statement Tuesday.
A citizen who tried to stop one of the men was allegedly attacked by both suspects, and suffered significant injuries as a result, said police.
“We are turning to the public to help us identify these suspects,” said Const. Sam Zacharias.
Police described the two suspects as both being white males in their late teens. One has dark shaggy hair while the other has light brown, short hair. The male with dark hair was wearing a distinct hoodie with yellow markings on it, said police.
In photos released by police, both the suspects are wearing black jackets and face masks.
