Hamilton police have released a video of a shooting over the weekend in Stoney Creek and are asking anyone with information about it to contact them.
The incident happened on Saturday, shortly before 10 p.m., in the area of Glover and Lakeshore roads, which is where they captured surveillance footage of shooting on camera.
No injuries were reported.
In the video, which is about 15 seconds long, a suspect dressed in all dark clothing is seen exiting the rear door of a dark-coloured sedan before firing several shots towards the left side of the frame.
After firing the shots in what appears to be a driveway, the suspect then retreats to the backseat of the vehicle.
Investigators say they are looking for “two unknown suspects, dressed in all dark clothing,” and believe the vehicle was a black or dark-colored 2018-2020 Acura TLX.
“The motive for the shooting remains under investigation, however, we do believe that this was a targeted shooting,” police wrote in a media release.
