A man wanted in connection with a shooting outside a Hamilton nightclub last summer has been arrested in Quebec.
Hamilton police announced the arrest of 29-year-old Cory Parnell on Thursday.
Investigators had been looking for Parnell who was wanted for several offences, including aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm with intent.
They allege the 29-year-old was the gunman behind the shooting in the parking lot of the now-former Club 33 on Aug. 25, 2024, in the area of Main Street and John Street South.
Police said there was an argument before the shooting that left two men and a woman in their 20s injured. Two of the victims had life-altering injuries.
“While charges have been laid in this shooting, the investigation continues,” police said. They are asking anyone with information to contact them at 905-546-4883 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
