GTHA school bus cancellations for Feb. 6, 2025

CP24 meteorologist Bill Coulter has an update on weather conditions and bus cancellations across the GTA.

There are a number of school bus cancellations in and around the GTA on Thursday morning due to slippery conditions for drivers.

Halton Region:

Halton Student Transportation Services says buses are cancelled in Zones, 1,2, and 3 this morning, impacting schools in both the Halton District and Halton Catholic school boards. Schools remain open.

Hamilton:

The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board says all school buses are cancelled and schools are closed Thursday due to the inclement weather.

Niagara Region:

School buses are cancelled for students in the District School Board of Niagara, the Niagara Catholic District School Board and the Niagara Children’s Centre School Authority. Schools are closed.

Simcoe County:

Buses are cancelled in the south, central and west regions this morning. Schools remain open.
