TORONTO -- Thirteen different Toronto players scored points, five of them in double figures, as the Raptors pounded the Memphis Grizzlies 108-72 in NBA pre-season play Wednesday.
Toronto took control in the late stages of the opening quarter and led by as many as 39 points on the way to a rout of last season's Western Conference finalists.
With the win the Raptors improved to 6-1 in the pre-season, which ends Friday in Milwaukee.
DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Raptors with 21 points, while Rudy Gay added 15.
Austin Daye had 14 points off the bench as the Raptors shot 46 per cent from the field, including an impressive 53 per cent from three-point range.
The Grizzlies, meanwhile, were brutal at both ends of the court. They shot just 35 per cent from the field, including only 24 per cent from the beyond the arc.
The only concern on the night for the Raptors was the health of starting guard Kyle Lowry, who left the game in the second half with an injured left ring finger and did not return. He had dished out 10 assists in 26 minutes before heading into the locker-room.
Starting centre Jonas Valanciunas left the game with a cut to his chin and also did not return.
Despite the lopsided victory, it was far from a pretty effort for the Raptors, who committed 17 turnovers. The Grizzlies had 19 turnovers on the night.
The Raptors open the regular season on Oct. 30 when the Boston Celtics visit Air Canada Centre.
The Raptors dominated at both ends of the court in the first half, taking a 54-27 lead into the break.
Rudy Gay and DeRozan led the way with 10 points apiece as nine of the 10 players who hit the floor for Toronto in the opening half had a field goal.
The Raptors shot 47 per cent from the floor and 44 per cent from three-point range in the first half.
Toronto led 27-14 after the first quarter as six different players scored, including Terrence Ross, the hero in Monday's double-overtime win over the New York Knicks. He had six points in four minutes.
