I think the majority of us can agree that air fryers have completely changed the game when it comes to meal prep. Not only do they give your food a delicious crisp, but they do so without the hassle and the excess oil of traditional deep fryers.
Now, I’m not new to air fryers. I had my T-Fal Air Fryer Essential for years, and it was my trusty kitchen sidekick. I relied on it for everything from snacks to hosting — whether I was making fries for family burger night or reheating a slice of pizza for lunch, it was there for me. But over time there were a few problems I encountered.
The dial had limited temperature settings that were hard to set precisely, and I couldn’t see when my food was done, so I’d often end up with dishes that were a little too crispy. The other major problem I had was that, alongside my toaster and blender, it was taking up valuable counter space, and my kitchen was starting to look like the appliance aisle at a big box store
That’s when I decided I needed an upgrade. I started scouring the internet for options, and I finally landed on the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Dual Heat Air Fry Oven. Spoiler alert: I’m happy I did.
I’ve had this on my kitchen counter for the last five months, and I can confidently say it has changed how I prepare fresh meals and reheat old ones. I was able to get rid of my old toaster (which was on its last legs) and give my old air fryer to a new home.
Now, let’s talk settings. The toast and bagel settings on the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Dual Heat Air Fry Oven get your breakfast breads to the perfect level of toastiness whether you like them slightly warmed through or crisp and crunchy. The bake, broil, and sear functions mean I can cook side dishes for bigger meals when my regular-sized oven is occupied with the main course. I’ve also used it to bake small batches of cookies and used it as an alternative to my microwave to reheat leftovers.
I love that the glass door allows me to keep a close eye on whatever’s inside, so I’m not surprised by what comes out. It even has settings to heat up frozen pizza or warm up a slice from the fridge, and they come out with soft, melted cheese, and a crispy crust every single time.
The whole toaster sits on a hinge system that allows it to be flipped up when it’s not in use, giving you even more counter space. It also comes with a cookie sheet as well as multiple baking racks, an air fryer basket, and a rapid sear plate for all of your cooking needs.
After months of nearly daily use, I’ve found that the only issue I’ve had is that things can become overdone quickly. Because it’s such a small unit, it heats up in a minute (seriously), but it also means that the hot air circulates faster than it would in a regular oven, so you really have to keep an eye on what you’re making until you get the hang of the timing.
Ninja has made a name for itself in the small kitchen appliance arena. The brand has gone mega-viral for its CREAMi Ice Cream Machine, and its home soda machine, the THIRSTi, so it’s no surprise that reviewers love the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Dual Heat Air Fry Oven as much as I do.
It has an average reviewer rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars, with reviewers saying it’s useful and efficient. Many of them love that it functions as a mini oven, since it goes up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
