Vehicle rollover near Meadow Lake sends four to hospital

Published:

Four people were taken to hospital after a single-vehicle rollover on a highway in west-central Saskatchewan.

RCMP were called to the crash on Highway 4, about 20 kilometres north of Meadow Lake on Sunday evening.

Mounties say it appears a pickup truck was travelling northbound on the highway when it went into the ditch and rolled.

The driver of the truck, a 26-year-old North Battleford man, and three passengers – a 23-year-old woman, also from North Battleford, a 33-year-old Meadow Lake man, and a 25-year-old woman from Vermillion River, Alta. – were all taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

RCMP say the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
