Saskatoon police have begun a homicide investigation after a 38-year-old man was found dead in an apartment building on Sunday.
At around 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Embassy Drive after the man’s body was discovered, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a news release.
After officers secured the scene, an investigation began – which includes SPS’s major crime and forensic identification sections along with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
The death marks Saskatoon’s second homicide of 2025.
