The Saskatchewan RCMP is investigating after a fight between two men in the town of Marshall resulted in one of them dying.
On Thursday at around 4:30 a.m., Maidstone RCMP responded to a report of an incident outside of a home on 2nd Avenue, the service said in a news release.
According to the RCMP, both men were injured in the fight – with one of them being declared dead by EMS while en route to the hospital. His family has been notified.
RCMP say the second man was also taken to hospital while suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and has arrested an adult male suspect. However, no charges have been laid at this time.
RCMP are asking residents in Marshall to check their home security cameras and doorbell cameras for footage between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on April 24.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided when available.
The town of Marshall is located about 254 kilometers northwest of Saskatoon.
