RCMP are looking for a man who attempted to rob a business using a projector screen as a weapon while using clothing to unsuccessfully conceal his face.

The man was denied service from a business on Railway Avenue East in North Battleford shortly after midnight Tuesday. He left, but returned with a makeshift weapon and an article of clothing unsuccessfully concealing his face. He was holding a projector screen as a weapon, according to Battleford RCMP.

The man demanded money from an employee of the business, but wasn’t successful in getting any cash. He left in a small, dark-coloured car. No one was injured.

RCMP say they were able to identify a suspect and are working to locate and arrest him.
