WATCH: Angela Stewart brings you your forecast, which includes more snow and clouds for parts of Saskatchewan.

After a brief reprieve winter conditions have returned to many highways and city streets in Saskatchewan Friday morning.

As of 8 a.m. Friday travel was not recommended on multiple highways, including Highway 11 from Lumsden to Dundurn as well as a lengthy stretch of Highway 2, according to the Highway Hotline.

A post on the website also said a collision occurred on the Regina Bypass southwest of the city in the westbound lanes near Courtney Street, shortly before 6 a.m.

According to an email from the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers received a report of an overturned semi on the southwest corner of the bypass. RCMP said northwestbound lanes are currently closed (as of 9 a.m.). No injuries were reported and vehicles are being re-routed at Highway 6, RCMP added.

In a news release, RCMP says ice, snow-covered lanes, drifting and blowing snow, road closures and detours and strong winds are all impacting road conditions and visibility Friday morning.

The city of Regina was under a freezing rain warning early Friday morning, that has since ended.

Below seasonal temperatures are also expected for Regina for most of next week.

The average daytime high this time of year is zero degrees, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
