CTV News is preparing to wrap up coverage of the unprecedented 78-day federal election campaign with an unparalleled live ELECTION 2015 broadcast.

The broadcast special will feature a brand new state-of-the art election set, and you’ll get up-to-the-minute results which you can view on TV and online.

CTV News has 60 reporters in the field at locations across the country for Monday night’s coverage.

“I think this is honestly one of the most exciting elections I've ever had the privilege to cover,” Lisa LaFlamme, Chief Anchor and Senior Editor of CTV News, said. “There are just so many unanswered questions. Of course, that's the exciting part about democracy.”

It all starts at 7 p.m. ET -- on-air and online. Led by LaFlamme, CTV ELECTION 2015 draws on the experience, resources and strength of CTV’s national and local news divisions across Canada, including CTV News’ Ottawa Bureau Chief and Host of CTV’s QUESTION PERIOD, Robert Fife.

"We have a few surprise guests coming for our epic special,” LaFlamme says. “I don't want to give any secrets away, but I just will say, this is a must-watch broadcast."

In-depth analysis and demographic information is provided by CTV News’ Kevin Newman, who is joined by CTV News’ official pollster Nik Nanos and Rupen Seoni, from Environics Analytics, who is providing detailed information about voter attitudes and riding profiles.

Joining LaFlamme for analysis:

  • James Rajotte, retiring Conservative Member of Parliament (Edmonton-Leduc)
  • Anne McLellan, former Liberal Cabinet Minister and Deputy Prime Minister
  • Lorne Nystrom, former NDP MP
  • Antonia Maioni, professor of Political Science at Montréal’s McGill University
  • Alice Funke, publisher of Pundits’ Guide to Canadian Federal Elections

Viewers will also hear from an in-studio audience at Studio 338, CTV News’ hub for lively, unscripted and social conversation. Located at CTV’s studio headquarters in Toronto, Studio 338 is named in honour of Canada’s 338 ridings across the country. Behind-the-scenes action of Studio 338 will stream live on CTVNews.ca throughout the evening.

Online, CTV ELECTION 2015 will be live-streamed and available internationally on CTVNews.ca and on the CTV News GO app.
