Woodroffe Ave. reopened

Woodroffe Ave. is closed in both directions from Saville Row to Richmond Road following a serious collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle.

UPDATE: All roads now open.  The Ottawa Police thank the public for their patience.

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Police Service is advising that a female pedestrian succumbed to her injuries.

Woodroffe Avenue remains closed between Saville Row and Richmond Road. Commuters are asked to take an alternate route.

The Ottawa Police Collision Investigations Section is investigating. The notification of next of kin is underway.
