Warm weather, sunny skies and a bit of rain in the forecast for Ottawa on May Long Weekend

CTV’s Austin Lee shares the full local 6 p.m. forecast for Saturday, May 16, 2026.

While some rain showers are expected in Ottawa on Saturday, the weather throughout the long weekend should be mostly pleasant.

According to Environment Canada’s weather forecast, Saturday will feature a mix of sun and clouds and a 30 per cent chance of showers beginning around 2 p.m. and continuing into the evening.

The temperature will reach a high of 21 C and an overnight low of 11 C.

On Sunday, expect a mainly sunny day with temperatures reaching 21 C.

On Victoria Day, expect plenty of sun and a temperature high of 28 C.

Tuesday’s forecast predicts a high of 29 C and showers.
