SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. -- Malcolm Subban made 27 saves and Jordan Subban had a goal and an assist as the Belleville Bulls won 5-3 over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Thursday night in the Ontario Hockey League.
A three-goal second period lifted the Bulls to the victory as Sergey Kuptsov, Subban and Michael Curtis scored to give the Bulls a 4-2 lead at the time.
Niki Petti scored in the third period to seal the win for the Bulls. Joseph Cramarossa also scored for Belleville (7-2-1), while defenceman Jake Worrad had three assists.
Chris Buonomo, Michael Schumacher and Sergey Tolchinsky scored for the Greyhounds (7-5-0).
Greyhounds goaltender Matt Murray stopped 30 shots in the loss.
