The Ottawa Senators have signed Ridly Greig to a contract extension, keeping another key piece of the Sens core in the capital long-term.
The Senators announced Greig has agreed to a four-year, $13 million contract extension with the club. The deal carries an average salary of $3.25 million a year through the 2028-29 season.
“I am grateful to the Ottawa Senators for the opportunity to spend the next four years with this group,” Greig said in a statement. "I am looking forward to continuing to develop and for the chance to win with this team."
The 22-year-old Greig, from Lethbridge, Alta., has appeared in 129 games for the Senators over parts of three seasons. He had 13 goals and 26 points last season.
