Ottawa Police say the guns and gangs unit is investigating a shooting on Russell Road near Boundary Road.
Police were called to the area at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Ottawa Paramedics report one man was transported to hospital with a leg injury.
He is in stable condition.
This is the 12th shooting in Ottawa so far this year.
