No snow, but cold temperatures in the forecast for Ottawa

Cold temperatures will continue to grip Ottawa today and over the next few days, before warmer temperatures arrive for the final weekend of February.

The temperature was -17 C at 6 a.m., with the wind chill making it feel like -28.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for a high of -13 C today, with a low of -19 C tonight and -14 C Wednesday night, Thursday night and Friday night.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of -3 C and a low of -12 C.

It will be mainly cloudy today with a 40 per cent chance of flurries. High -13 C with the wind chill making it feel like -23 this afternoon.

Mainly cloudy tonight. Low -19 C, with the wind chill of -28 overnight.

Ottawa will see a mix of sun and cloud on Wednesday. High -10 C.

The outlook for Thursday calls for cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of flurries. High -7 C.

Friday will be sunny. High -7 C.

Temperatures will warm up to -3 C on Saturday and -2 on Sunday.
