Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in South Dundas Friday evening.

OPP say the vehicle was travelling westbound on County Road 4 in the Village of Iroquois, about 85 kilometres south of Ottawa.

The vehicle veered off a roundabout at approximately 10:45 p.m. and struck several objects before coming to a rest, police say.

Despite life-saving measures, the lone occupant of the vehicle, a 43-year-old woman from Montreal, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
