Malls
- Rideau Centre: Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The mall will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Family Day.
- Tanger Outlets: Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Tanger Outlets will be open Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Bayshore Shopping Centre: Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The mall is closed on Monday.

- Billings Bridge: Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The mall is closed on Monday.
- Carlingwood Mall: Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The mall is closed on Monday.

- St. Laurent Shopping Centre: Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The mall is closed on Monday.
Grocery stores
The following grocery stores will be open on Monday:
- Farm Boy Rideau Centre: Open Family Day 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Loblaws on Isabella Street: Open Family Day 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Loblaws on Rideau Street: Open Monday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Metro Glebe: Open Monday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Metro Rideau: Open Monday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Whole Foods at Lansdowne: Open Monday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Beer Store/LCBO
All LCBO outlets and Beer Store locations will be closed on Family Day.
Select Wine Rack locations will be open on Family Day. Check individual stores for hours.
City of Ottawa services
OC Transpo
- OC Transpo buses, and O-Train Lines 1,2 and 4 will run on a normal weekday schedule on Monday.
- OC Transpo says O-Train Line 1 will be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Line 2 and Line 4 will be open from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Para Transpo
- Regular bookings or recurring trips for Monday, February 17 are automatically cancelled.
- The reservation line will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The trip cancellation line will be open from 6 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Garbage, recycling and green bin collection
- There will be no curbside green bin, recycling or garbage collection on Monday. Pickup will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and collection will be delayed by one day all week.
- The Trail Road Waste Facility will be open on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Multi-residential garbage containers will be collected on the regular scheduled day. Collections of multi-residential recycling containers, bulky items and green bins will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
Client Service Centres
- Ottawa’s 3-1-1 Contact Centre will be open for urgent matters only on Monday
- ServiceOttawa’s Client Services and Provincial Offences Counters will be closed.
- The Business Licensing Centre at 735 Industrial Avenue will be closed.
- The City of Ottawa Spay and Neuter Clinic at 26 Concourse Gate will be closed.
Recreation and cultural services
- Many community centres and recreation facilities will have altered hours and changes to drop in schedules on Family Day. Please check the facility pages on ottawa.ca for details.
Other city services
- All municipal child care centres will be closed on Monday
- All Ottawa Public Library branches will be closed on Monday.
- All four Employment and Social Services offices will be closed on Monday.
- The Ottawa Public Health Site program office and supervised consumption services will be closed.
- The Sexual Health Clinic and satellite clinics will be closed.
- Dental clinics will be closed.
- The Parenting In-Ottawa drop-ins will be closed on Monday.

- Canadian Museum of Nature open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Family Day from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Canada Agriculture and Food Museum open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Canada Science and Technology Museum open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Family Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Canada Aviation and Space Museum open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Family Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Canadian War Museum open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Family Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Canadian Museum of History open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Family Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
