U.S.-based fast food chain Chick-fil-A has confirmed it’s looking to Orléans for its third location in the capital.

“While still early in the process, we are pleased to share Chick-fil-A is actively pursuing a location in the Orleans, Ontario area,” an email from the company said.

City documents say Chick-fil-A submitted a planning application for a restaurant with a drive-thru and an outdoor patio at 4270 Innes Rd., which is part of the Trinity Crossing Mall.

No opening date was provided by the company.

The chain has restaurants at Tanger Outlets in Kanata and the CF Rideau Centre downtown.
