Bowlers will be able to throw strikes in Ottawa’s west end, starting this weekend.

Splitsville opens its new location at the Kanata Centrum on Saturday, offering 10-pin bowling, arcade games and food.

“This isn’t just bowling; it’s a state-of-the-art entertainment destination featuring premium lanes, arcade games, food and drink, and a vibrant atmosphere designed for everything from family outings to lively nights with friends,” Splitsville, an Oakville-based company, said in an announcement.

“Whether you’re a casual bowler or a competitive player, Splitsville Kanata is set to be the go-to spot for fun.”

The 26,000 sq. ft. bowling and entertainment facility will have 18 lanes for 10-pin bowling, along with an arcade and a food and drink menu.

Kanata will be the 13th Splitsville location in Canada. There is also a Splitsville in Kingston on Bath Road.

There are several bowling lanes in Ottawa, including the Orleans Bowling Centre, the Merivale Bowling Centre and West Park Bowling.
