Manitoulin Island now has a full-time police canine unit

UCCM Anisnaabe Police have announced their first canine unit on Manitoulin Island – Const. Nick Beaudry and a Belgian Malinois police service dog 'Ben.' The pair are graduates of the OPP academy completing an 18-week training program and an additional five-week course in drug detection.
