A 31-year-old Grimsby man faces multiple charges after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 11 last week.
On April 12 at about 6:15 p.m., officers located and stopped the reported vehicle at the intersection of Highway 11 and Wilson Road.
“The driver was arrested and transported to the Temiskaming detachment for further testing,” OPP said in a news release.
As a result of the police investigation, the motorist was charged with four impaired driving-related offences – including driving while having a blood alcohol concentration of more than 80, driving with cannabis readily available and driving with liquor readily available. The accused was also charged with littering on a highway.

In addition to the charges, the accused also had their licence suspended for 90 days and is scheduled to appear in court in Haileybury on April 29.
The vehicle involved was also towed and impounded by authorities.
