Suspect on Hwy. 69 caught driving 166 km/h, police say

Ontario Provincial Police said they stopped a vehicle travelling 166 km/h in a 110 km/h zone south of Sudbury April 12.

Two people have been arrested following an incident on Highway 69 south of Sudbury earlier this month.

Ontario Provincial Police said they stopped a vehicle April 12 travelling 166 km/h in a 110 km/h zone.

As a result, a 49-year-old from Britt was charged with stunt driving, their driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for two weeks.

And police said a passenger in the vehicle was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant and was taken into custody.
