There is news out of Sault Ste. Marie, that suggests the Searchmont ski resort is about to be sold.
The facility is about 40 minutes outside Sault Ste. Marie and is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
Skiing is the main attraction, but many snowmobilers stay in the condos as they enjoy the trail system.
The city's economic development corporation took over Searchmont in 2014.
