If you won a cash for life prize, would you choose an annual sum or one-time payout? A Sault Ste. Marie man recently had to make that choice for himself.
Keith Walls matched all five main numbers in the Daily Grand draw Jan. 4 winning the lottery game's second prize, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said in a news release.

He had to choose between receiving $25,000 a year for the rest of his life or a one-time lump sum payment of $500,000.
The senior chose the lump sum, OLG said.
His winning ticket was purchased at Airways General Store on Second Line in Prince Township, just outside of Sault Ste. Marie.
Had he also matched the grand number in the draw, he would have had to choose between $1,000 per day for life or a lump sump payout of $7 million.
