A woman is in hospital after a dispute degenerated between several individuals Sunday evening in Quebec City.
Quebec City police (SPVQ) says that at 5 p.m., a conflict broke out behind a building near the intersection of de la Canardière Road and Bardy Street.
The individuals left the scene before police arrived, but officers later located a vehicle nearby.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, was found with injuries and transported to hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
A man, who was also in the vehicle, is expected to be interviewed by investigators.
The SPVQ says the two people are already known to them.
The investigation is ongoing.
