The body of Courage Agbezorlie, 28, has been found.
The pastor who disappeared along with Sandra Mensah, 26, on March 9 was found on the banks of the Riviere des Prairies on May 6.
Police only announced the find today, 10 days after the discovery. The delay was required in order to confirm his identity.
Mensah remains missing.
The couple was last seen at a Jean Coutu pharmacy at 5855 Gouin Blvd. West at 10 p.m. on Sunday March 9, 2014, while their car was found about one kilometre away.
The circumstances around their disappearance have remained a total mystery to police investigators as well as family and friends.
Police told CTV Montreal Friday that they are not considering the death to be the result of homicide. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed but death by drowning is possible.
