Laval police (SPL) has arrested a man on online luring charges, and investigators believe there may be more victims.
Steve Martin Dubuc, 58, was charged in the Laval courthouse with online luring and breach of conditions and remains in custody.
Police say the charges stem from alleged actions between Nov. 2024 and Feb. 2025.
“Using a Facebook profile in the name of Stefano Tremblay and identifying himself as a DJ working at a popular radio station in the Montreal area, the suspect allegedly contacted minors via the Messenger platform,” the SPL said in a news release. “Investigators have reason to believe that he may have other victims.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the SPL’s info-crime line at 450-662-4636 or call 911 and refer to the file RPY-241124-015.
