Canadiens sign Swedish prospect Lukas Vejdemo to two-year entry-level deal

Swedish prospect Lukas Vejdemo has agreed to a two-year entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens.

The 22-year-old centre was taken 87th overall in the 2015 draft.

Vejdemo had 10 goals and 22 points in 47 games for Djurgarden in the Swedish Hockey League this season. He had one assist in seven playoff games.

He has 19 goals and 47 points in 150 career SHL games.
