Animal rights activists are speaking out against the circus when it comes to Dorchester.
The Shrine Circus is coming to Dorchester for two shows will be met with protestors speaking out on animal rights.
The circus that includes two elephants, a handful of horses and human entertainers hasn't been in the London area for several years.
Florine Morrison, spokesperson for the London Animal Alliance says "their cruel, outdated circus is no longer considered entertainment and they are not welcome in London, Dorchester or any other stop on their nasty schedule to promote animal abuse."
Protesters will gather at the Dorchester Flight Exec Centre to tell Shriners that their circus isn't welcome in Dorchester.
Protests are scheduled for 3 p.m and again at 6:30 p.m.
Morrison added that 'signs and leaflets will let the public know that circus animals suffer and buying a ticket they supports this cruelty.'
This won't be the first, or the last time the Shriners have been met by protest. Animal rights groups have been rallying to eliminate the use of animals in their shows for several years now.
