Serious injuries in Highway 401 crash; westbound lanes re-open

Oxford County OPP have re-opened Highway 401 westbound at Culloden Road after a two-vehicle collision near Ingersoll.

OPP say they responded to a collision between a car and a motorcycle that occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the motorcycle has been transported to a London hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the car was uninjured.

Highway 401 westbound was closed for several hours between Culloden Road and Putnam Road, but has since re-opened.

OPP, South-West Oxford Fire Department and Oxford County Emergency Medical Services, all responded to assist at this location.
