A single-vehicle crash in Norfolk County has claimed the life of one person.
According to OPP, the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on St. John’s Road west near Simcoe.
The driver, a 37-year-old resident of Norfolk County was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police have confirmed that the driver was reported missing the day before from an address on Brown Street in Port Dover.
St. John’s Road West was closed between Norfolk Street South and Hillcrest Road South while police investigated. That road has since reopened.
Anybody who may have been in the area of the crash on Friday morning is asked to contact OPP.
