A few light flurries will move through the area heading into the late afternoon, early evening on Monday.

According to CTV News Meteorologist Julie Atchison, wind chills will feel anywhere from -9 to -14 as we head towards Kitchener-Waterloo.

“Tonight, partly cloudy skies. The temperature drops down to about -10 by midnight, but feeling like -15,” said Atchison. “Winds will be light — we have snow moving in for Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night.”

Atchison also said, this weather system will bring some heavy accumulation into southern Ontario and London.

“Preliminary snowfall amounts anywhere from five to 10 centimeters to start Wednesday night early Thursday,” she said. “And then another two to four centimeters Thursday morning. This will definitely be a high-impact weather system as it expected to push through Wednesday night Thursday morning.”

Shovels will definitely be needed Thursday morning and for the next few days.
