TORONTO - The trio of drag queens for the upcoming Toronto production of "Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical" is now complete.

Mirvish Productions says American musical theatre star Nick Adams has joined the show that makes its North American debut at the Princess of Wales Theatre Oct. 12.

He'll play Adam/Felicia, one of three drag queens who go on a road trip across the Australian outback in search of love and friendship.

The other two queens are played by Tony Sheldon of Australia and Will Swenson of the U.S.

Canadian cast members include C. David Johnson, Thom Allison, Susan Dunstan and David Lopez.

"Priscilla" officially opens in Toronto on Oct. 26 and runs for 12 weeks before moving to Broadway in spring 2011.

The musical, which premiered in Sydney in 2006, is written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and is based on the Oscar-winning film "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert."

Adams is currently starring alongside Kelsey Grammer in the Broadway revival of "La Cage aux Folles."

His other Broadway credits include "A Chorus Line," "Chicago" and "Guys and Dolls."
