Three youths are facing charges after police said they used a weapon to rob a restaurant in Kitchener.
Waterloo Regional Police Service officers were called to the Ira Needles Boulevard and University Avenue West area on Friday around 11 p.m.
They were told three youths had walked into the business and tried to steal products. Police said the youths had a weapon, which led to a physical altercation.
The trio left before police arrived but they were later found nearby and arrested.
They are facing multiple offences, including robbery.
No one was injured.
Police did not say how old the youths were or what kind of weapon was used.
